Take a dive off of Waimea Rock and swim in the cool waters of historic Waimea Bay or drive down the road and go snorkeling in the quiet inlet of Shark’s Cove. Towards the North East side of the island is the Turtle Bay Resort and small town of Kahuku. Known for its famous fresh water shrimp trucks, make sure to get a plate full of Kahuku’s sweet jumbo shrimp sauteed in rich garlic butter for the perfect end to your day in The Country.
