HONOLULU, HI – JANUARY 11, 2012 — La Pietra – Hawaii School For Girls signed an exclusive agreement with Distinctive Homes Hawaii Real Estate, LLC., (DHHRE) to market the campus as a unique Hawaii wedding and event destination.
Warren Daniel, CEO and Founder of Distinctive Homes Hawaii and Mike Moses, Director of Institutional Advancement at La Pietra, shook hands over the inked agreement on December 16, 2011.
“La Pietra is set on the slopes of the world famous Diamond Head Crater. This venue is a quintessential event site with a magnificent panorama of Waikiki,” Mr. Daniel said while standing on the ‘Great Lawn’ of La Pietra.
The La Pietra campus is spread out over nearly five acres of sacred grounds, which is one of the only remaining landmarks of Papa’ena’ena, an ancient Hawaiian temple site. After purchasing the property, in 1919, Walter F. Dillingham built La Pietra, a lavish Italian Villa for his wife Louise Olga Gaylord of Florence, Italy. The architecture exhibited at the Florentine estate sets La Pietra apart as Hawaii’s most unique wedding and events site.
“When you enter La Pietra you are transported to an another place and time, everyone will be pleasantly surprised with its timeless physical and architectural beauty,” said Mr. Moses at the signing.
The La Pietra Great Lawn can accommodate seated parties of up to 400 guests; up to 150 at its fountain courtyard; and 250 at its outdoor court.
La Pietra – Hawaii School for Girls is an independent school for girls grades 6 through 12.
