Trump  Tower Waikiki — Exceptional in Every Way  and there’s Surf Too!

It is a sunny, windy, early spring morning in Honolulu; too early for the hustle and bustle of Waikiki to disturb Warren Daniel as he sits on his 19th floor lanai in the Trump Tower Waikiki intently watching the early morning surf build and then fold over into  almost perfectly formed  tubes at his favorite surf spot Threes which is only a few 100 yards away from where he watches.

“Threes is one of the best surf spots on Oahu’s South Shore” Daniel exclaims “and today’s swell is the first one of the season and I should get home and pick up my surfboard.”  But, today will not be the day to go surfing as Daniel and expert surfer in his own right, has a full day scheduled managing his successful  real estate and luxury property management companies.”

“We formed our real estate company Distinctive Home Hawaii in 2005 along with  our luxury property management division Ohana Beach Rentals Hawaii.  It has been a challenge but with our dedicated staff, and my wife Rachel’s help, we have weathered the real estate meltdown and now have  the  only Luxury Branded Property Management company in Hawaii” Daniel says in one breath. “It is a far different business than when I was a consultant for major confectionery manufactures in Asia and on the mainland.”

Though Daniel lives in a beautifully decorated four bedroom house on the slopes of Diamond Head with his wife and two daughters, he often spend the early mornings in his Trump Tower Waikiki condo.

“I usually get up before the sunrises, put on my surf shorts and run down through Waikiki while it is still dark and cool.” Daniel says. “Usually the sun is just rising when I arrive at Trump and I  get a cup of coffee and start going through  the 100s of emails that I receive each day.” Daniel continues “It is just so inspiring to be here in this beautiful  Trump Hotel  and I try to get a jump on my day, if I don’t spend too much time watching the surf” Daniel says with a laugh.

To the people who know Daniel, it is not surprising that he spends as much time as he can at Donald Trump’s Luxury Property in the heart of Waikiki. “He has always believed in the Trump Waikiki Project and has been able to understand the vision from the very beginning” Krisitin Counter said a few days earlier.

“Warren Daniel knew  the developers of the Trump Tower Waikiki were experts in developing successful properties for the luxury market.” she continued “Warren literally witnessed the rise of Trump Waikiki from beginning to the end of construction. He would come down and take pictures of the progress.”

Counter is Daniel’s General Manager and today is on the other side of Waikiki at the Diamond Head Beach Hotel which is under exclusive management contract with Daniel’s luxury property management division.   Counter, who was born and raised in Hawaii and a graduate of Dartmouth College has been surfing all of her life too, and like Daniel she can’t wait to catch the first south swell of the season. “What is so cool is that Threes is right in front of the Trump Tower Waikiki.”

“Warren Daniel is an expert surfer and he blocks for me so that I can catch  waves when it gets crowded” Counter says with a laugh. “But I can out swim him any day of the week.” she continues.

Lately, the Ohana Beach Rentals Hawaii staff and management have been spending most their weeks and weekends out of the water. “We’ve never been busier” Daniel says matter-of-factly. “We are almost completely sold out of our vacation units and we need more luxury properties to rent.”

“Our company’s  focus has always been on the luxury properties in Honolulu”, Daniel continued. “I believe that Honolulu is one of the best vacation  values in the world.  There are many luxury properties in Honolulu, such as the Nauru Towers, the Moana Pacific, the Hokua or the Waikiki Watermark to name  just a few.” Daniel stops for a moment and then says with a smile, “But there is none, in my opinion,  that can bring luxury to everyday  living as the Trump Waikiki is able to do.”
