Dear Folks:

I am considering purchase of a 2BR/2BA unit at the Watermark on Ala Wai Blvd. I am wondering if you manage any units there and if so, what has your rental experience been there? Are you able to book them for up to 3 mos. per year? What is the going rate per month? What are your management fees? What services do you provide? I would only do a minimum of a one month rental and would prefer up to a max of 3 mos. if possible. Most likely we would only rent during the winter months as we prefer to be there in town during the summer months.

Aloha Larry,

Yes! We manage 4 Watermark properties and would love to add another to our rental pool. Watermark is one of our most popular buildings and we consistently book them year round for $5500 – $7500/mo.

We have an 80%+ occupancy rate for that building. So if your unit were available for 10 months out of the year, we would have it rented for at least 8 months.

We specialize in short to moderate-term rentals meaning 1 month – 3 months and most of our clientele are repeat customers from the mainland and other countries.The majority of the 100 property owners in our rental pool live elsewhere in the world and come to Hawaii once or twice a year. We rent out their properties when they are not here, getting them rental income as well as maintaining their property for them.
